COMPANY INFORMATION

This website is run by Wild Things (PTY) Ltd (private company) based in South Africa trading as Wild Things Africa and with registration number 2015 / 352775 / 07 


DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
Wild Things (PTY) Ltd Trading as Wild Things Africa is a business in the tourism industry that creates, plans, organizes and guides tours and activities in South Africa.


PRICING POLICY
Wild Things (PTY) Ltd reserves the right to change their prices without notice.


SERVICE DELIVERY POLICY
Subject to availability and receipt of payment and delivery confirmed by way of payment confirmation. 


CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations more than 24 hours for hikes will receive a refund. Less than the above will receive no refund. Guests more than 15 minutes late on agreed time, with no communication to their guide/ Wild Things (PTY) Ltd, will be considered a “No show” and receive no refund. For all other tours the policy is as follows: 


1-7 days before arrival - 100%
8-15 days before arrival - 90%
16 - 30 days before arrival - 50%
31 - 45 days before arrival – 30%
46 days or more – 10%


PAYMENT OPTIONS ACCEPTED
Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, Amex and Diners or by Bank Transfer into the Wild Things (PTY) Ltd bank account, the details of which will be provided on your invoice.


CARD ACQUIRING AND SECURITY
Card transactions will be acquired for Wild Things (PTY) Ltd via Pay Fast who the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. Pay Fast uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to https://payfast.io/ to view their security certificate and security policy.


CUSTOMER DETAILS SEPARATE FROM CARD DETAILS
Customer details will be stored by Wild Things (PTY) Ltd separately from card details which are entered by the client on Pay Fast’s secure site. For more detail on Pay Fast refer to https://payfast.io/ 


MERCHANT OUTLET COUNTRY AND TRANSACTION CURRENCY
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
 

RESPONSIBILITY
Wild Things (PTY) Ltd takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.
 

GUEST HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY
A basic level of health and fitness is required for all physical activities. Guests are to inform their guide of any medical conditions that could affect their health or safety on a tour or activity. All tours and activities are at your own risk. Signed indemnity forms may be required before departing on any tour or activity.
 

TRAVEL INSURANCE
It is strongly recommended that all clients obtain comprehensive travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances, including trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and loss of personal belongings.
 

LIABILITY AND COMPANY INSURANCE
Wild Things (PTY) Ltd acts only as a tour operator and accepts no responsibility for any loss, injury, or damage sustained by clients during the tour.


Clients participate in tours at their own risk and are required to sign a liability waiver before commencing the tour.
Wild Things (PTY) Ltd reserves the right to alter itineraries, accommodations, and activities due to unforeseen circumstances or safety concerns.


Our insurance policy is available on request.
 

CODE OF CONDUCT
Clients are expected to behave responsibly and respectfully towards fellow tour participants, staff, and local communities.


Any behaviour deemed unacceptable by Wild Things (PTY) Ltd may result in the client being removed from the tour without refund.
 

PRIVACY POLICY
Wild Things (PTY) Ltd respects the privacy of its clients and will only use personal information for the purpose of booking and organizing tours.
Personal information will not be shared with third parties without the client's consent, except as required by law.

 

FORCE MAJEURE
Wild Things (PTY) Ltd shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these terms and conditions due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of terrorism, or government restrictions.
 

JURISDICTION
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
 

Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
 

VARIATION
Wild Things (PTY) Ltd may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.


CONFIRMATION
By booking a tour with Wild Things (PTY) Ltd, clients acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
