Day 1
Exploring the Klein Karoo
Embark on a thrilling journey from your Cape Town accommodation to the stunning Klein Karoo. Traverse the fertile Breede River Valley and follow Route 62, passing charming Karoo towns. Arrive in Oudtshoorn, famed for its ostrich population and the ancient Cango Caves in the Swartberg Mountains.
Day 2
The Enchanting Garden Route
Today, we bid adieu to the arid Klein Karoo and venture towards the lush Garden Route. Our route traverses the scenic Outeniqua Pass and picturesque seaside towns like Wilderness, Sedgefield, Knysna, and Plettenberg Bay, culminating in the enchanting Tsitsikamma National Park. Explore forested paths, soak in ocean views, and enjoy lunch by the water. In Knysna, unwind with a sunset cruise and waterfront dinner.
Day 3
Cape Agulhas Southern Point of Africa
Leaving the Garden Route, we enter the mountainous Overberg region known for sheep farming and scenic landscapes. Lunch at a riverside café in Swellendam, South Africa’s third-oldest town. Then, Cape Agulhas, where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet. Explore the historic lighthouse and dine at the southernmost pub on the continent.
Day 4
Hermanus & return to Cape Town
On your last day, we head to the picturesque seaside town of Hermanus, renowned as South Africa’s Whale Capital. Enjoy a scenic walk along ocean cliffs for a chance to spot Southern Right Whales in the waters below. Then, we drive along the breathtaking whale route and the cliffside Clarence Drive, concluding our journey as we return to Cape Town. Your unforgettable adventure ends here, leaving you with cherished memories to last a lifetime.
